Thwack is an instrumental ensemble formed by composer Will Northlich-Redmond (BlipVert), who leads the group playing electric likembe (among other things). The sound of the group resembles a Congotronics-inspired take on rock, punk, and jazz, mixing complex rhythmic passages with straight percussion jams and free improv blowouts. This time around, the group functions as a duet.
